Project Manager

Role: Project Manager 

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) 

About the Job: Danalto is an exciting, innovative company, providing solutions in Low Power Wide-Area Networks and the Internet of Things (IoT). Software plays a pivotal role in the delivery and development of our services. We are looking for a Project Manager with 3+ years’ project management experience to facilitate Research and Engineering projects, meet deadlines as captured in our Customer Success roadmap, to help manage and control our backlog, and to communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, and overall execution. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects concurrently. 

A strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product management practices along with being able to track priorities across complex project deliveries, aligned to resources is a must. Additionally, this person will have a lead role in working with private and public clients, ensuring strong and regular progress, feedback and priorities are set and delivered.  

Experience:

3+ years industry experience, or equivalent. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Project owner across multiple functional areas, from Research & Development, through to Customer Success, ensuring technology, product and delivery activities are aligned and well timed. 
  • Ensuring order and priorities of features and capabilities, including resourcing needs, are aligned to meet multi-project needs simultaneously 
  • Clear communication of project risks, progress, critical path analysis, as well as providing oversight into certain Customer and market related activities. 
  • Being able to oversee and manage up to 2 large-scale Research/Technology  related projects (long cycle), whilst also working on faster-paced (shorter cycle) Product Development and Customer related  activities.
  • Ensuring balance and trade-offs are performed across feature and improvements, as well as risk assessment of partners and external third party providers. 
  • Manage conflicting needs and priorities across multiple projects 
  • Being in a position to estimate and quantify productivity, technology deficits, and planning estimation so as to enable better business decisions. 
  • Able to challenge, debate, and disagree so as to arrive at the best decision and alignment with different stakeholders. 
  • To document and present, in clear terms, project status, progress, issues and priorities, including justifications for these. 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years’ Project Management Experience

  • Strong and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators  
  • Experience working and effectively contributing within a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
  • Self-motivated and self-starter 
  • Ability to accumulate and transform data into tangible reports and actionable information.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrable ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven ability to work well with others in challenging circumstances .

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Visio, and exposure to MS 365, as well as a variety of Internet browsers.  
  • PMP Certification is a plus  
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science / Information Science / Information Technology / Business Administration or related course of study.
